GreenJackets Pull Off Thrilling 2-1 Win in Extras
Augusta turned a good performance from starting pitcher Ben Schaffer into a 2-1 triumph over the West Virginia Power in 11 innings at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Augusta reliever Phil Hill picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Matt Wilson absorbed the loss. At 10-6, the GreenJackets have played well so far.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Augusta. That's when Juan Navarro hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old left-handed pitcher Matt Wilson to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I like our resilience," said Navarro.
