Greensboro starter Evan Rojas pitched well against the Kannapolis Intimidators at NewBridge Bank Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Raul Martinez sewed up the save, his 4th. Kannapolis drops to 11-8.

Stephen Gemma took Kannapolis hurler Donald Delo deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Grasshoppers on top, 4-2. In all, Gemma had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
