The West Virginia Power and Lakewood BlueClaws completed their game despite the inclement weather.

West Virginia pitcher Chris Lemieux had a large part in his team beating the Lakewood BlueClaws, 7-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. In 8 innings, Lemieux surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
