Braves Claim Late Win
Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

The Rome Braves faced a tough opponent in Charleston pitcher Bob Dubinsky, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park by a final score of 5-3. Dubinsky went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Charleston drops to 9-11.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Ricardo Ramos came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Charleston pitcher David Harris, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Rome on top, 3-2.

"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Ramos after the game.
