In a tight game between the Lakewood BlueClaws and the West Virginia Power, nobody was more important for the winners than Steve Urich. Urich was masterful in the 1-0 win. West Virginia now has a record of 15-6.

Urich had a key at-bat for West Virginia in the bottom of the second. With the bases empty, he hit a solo home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave West Virginia an early 1-0 lead.

"We won," said Urich. "But they made us earn it."
