Intimidators Improve to 18-7 with 8-1 Win
The Kannapolis Intimidators beat the West Virginia Power, 8-1, at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. Starting pitcher John Clark was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. With their 18th win of the season, the Intimidators have high hopes for earning their 12th Round 2 trophy.

The Intimidators got a big hit from first baseman Harry Corrado. Facing West Virginia pitcher Edwin Colomer in the bottom of the fifth, Corrado pounded a bases-clearing double to right. His 1st double of the season put the Intimidators ahead, 7-0.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said West Virginia skipper Luis Zamora.
