The fans at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park witnessed quite a game.

The Charleston RiverDogs knocked off the Columbia Fireflies, 3-2, in South Atlantic League action at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. Charleston pitcher and Villa Bisonó, Dominican Republic, native Izzy Morales had an outstanding performance. Rich Mondragon, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 0.1 innings.

Victor Garza was the walk-off hero for Charleston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the RiverDogs third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said RiverDogs manager Brandon Lacey.

The Fireflies, now 17-13, have lost 4 straight.
