Late Rally Earns West Virginia 4-2 Win
The West Virginia Power faced a tough opponent in Greenville pitcher Brett Hinders, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Fluor Field at the West End by a final score of 4-2. Hinders went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. West Virginia goes to 16-16, Greenville to 15-17.

West Virginia used the timely hitting of Cole Cothern to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Power on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame remarks, Cothern applauded his team's "resolve."
