Lexington turned a good effort from starter Justin Kramer into a win over the Asheville Tourists at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The final score was 4-2. Kramer yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 8. His record improves to 4-1. Joel Wiegand nailed down his 3rd save.

Jon Turner had a big run-scoring double for the Legends in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Lexington leading 3-2 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from 23-year old left-handed pitcher Ross Smolnik and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Legends ahead, 4-2.

"Justin throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Lexington manager Rich Freedland.

The loss makes Asheville 20-14.
