Fike Swings Suns to 9-2 Win
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Columbia Fireflies take on the Hagerstown Suns.

Ben Fike was a major factor in the 9-2 Hagerstown win over Columbia. The Suns left fielder was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win makes Hagerstown 11-24.

Hagerstown used a clutch at-bat from Miguel de la Fuente to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Suns ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Things went our way," said Fike.
