GreenJackets Beat Grasshoppers, 3-2

Lake Olmstead Stadium was the site of a tense game between the Greensboro Grasshoppers and Augusta GreenJackets.
Though he had a stellar game, Jonathan Ludington could not prevent his team, the Greensboro Grasshoppers, from losing, 3-2, to the Augusta GreenJackets. Ludington went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Aubrey DeLuca wrapped it up, recording his 4th save.
Augusta third baseman Sam Scheurer contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the GreenJackets ahead, 3-0.
Augusta manager Bill Mercado called it "a pretty good win."
The win puts Augusta at 19-17 this season.
