Botelho Sensational for Fireflies
The Columbia Fireflies topped the West Virginia Power, 8-3, in South Atlantic League action at Appalachian Power Park. The standout performance belonged to Columbia pitcher and Fullerton, California, native Danny Botelho. The win lifted the Columbia record to 26-16.

Botelho, who was born in Fullerton, California, threw 94 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Danny is still learning," said Fireflies manager Robby Vazquez. "The sky's the limit for him."
