In a well-pitched game between the Greensboro Grasshoppers and the Hickory Crawdads, pitcher Evan Rojas was fantastic. The Greensboro right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-1. Rojas, the winner, moves to 1-3. He threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 3 walks. The triumph makes Greensboro 13-30.

The Crawdads had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Grasshoppers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old center fielder John Neal came to the plate. Neal hit a 2-run double on a 0-2 slider from Hickory hurler Jason Barcia. It was Neal's 17th double of the year.

"Evan has got a slow heartbeat," said Greensboro manager Josh Lex. "He doesn't panic or anything."
