Power Rally to Win
The West Virginia Power wiggled past the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 8-7, at Appalachian Power Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of West Virginia third baseman Chris Buckingham. West Virginia reliever Ian Roth picked up the win, while Manny Custodio took the loss for Greensboro. With this game in the books, West Virginia is 30-15, Greensboro 14-31.

Buckingham delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the tenth to win it for West Virginia. In the contest, Buckingham was 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4.

"It was terrific getting this win," Buckingham said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
