Power Need Extra Frames to Get Past Shorebirds
The Delmarva Shorebirds could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Josh Bolton into a win. Instead, the West Virginia Power prevailed, 3-2, in 10 innings. Bolton threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The win went to Blake Birch in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Jayden Hayes took the loss. With the victory, the Power upped their record to 25-23.

The Power got a clutch hit from third baseman Jadon Harper. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Power.

"We take it day by day here," said Harper, "and today was a good one for us."
