The Asheville Tourists beat the Lexington Legends by a score of 7-6. Asheville third baseman Aaron Cruse deserved the lion's share of the credit. Cruse was 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Tourists. The Tourists now have a record of 28-20 with the win over Lexington.

Cruse contributed in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Asheville get the win.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Cruse told the Asheville Chronicle.
