The Asheville Tourists licked the Greenville Drive, 5-4. Danny Lindblom deserved a big chunk of the credit. The third baseman went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Tourists. The win was credited to Jesus Camarillo in relief. His record improves to 5-0. Ken Offutt took the loss. The second-place Tourists have won 5 in a row.

Asheville got a game-changing hit from Jason Martin. The pinch hitter blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.

"This place was rockin'," Lindblom said.
