The Greenville Drive romped over the Asheville Tourists, 11-1, at McCormick Field. Kory Betton led the way. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for Greenville. The 4th-place Drive have a record of 24-25.

Greenville used the stroke of Jaquan Oliver to get the win. The center fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Drive ahead, 6-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Asheville manager Jarrod Dryman. "We got trounced."
