Power Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
The Power earned a hard-fought, 3-2 win in 10 innings at Appalachian Power Park. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Charleston pitcher Jeff Elliot. Elliot went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Matt Corry, now 8-0, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 1. West Virginia, at 35-15, is 6½ games up in the Northern Division.

The Power got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Cameron McMillan. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Power.

McMillan said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
