Late Magic Gets Kannapolis 6-4 Win
The skies opened up and the rain fell at Appalachian Power Park.

Travis Christensen was a major contributor to the 6-4 Kannapolis win over West Virginia. The Intimidators catcher went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Intimidators now have a mark of 43-9.

Kannapolis used the clutch hitting of Tom Jarvis to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Intimidators the lead, 5-4. For the game, Jarvis had 1 single and 2 doubles in 4 at-bats.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Jarvis told the Kannapolis Gazette.
