Lexington Legends starter Ken Adorno hurled his team past the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 3-2. Adorno got the win, improving to 3-4. He allowed 3 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. Adorno allowed 2 runs. The loss makes Greensboro 8-43.
Carlos Zaragoza drove in one run for Lexington. The 26-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jason Richardson. It was his 10th RBI of the season.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Zaragoza.
