Augusta pitcher Danny Casas had a large part in his team beating the Lexington Legends, 6-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Cesar Chapa notched his 2nd save of the season. The GreenJackets now have a record of 24-33.

Augusta took a 6-3 lead on Paul Brown's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Brown hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Lexington pitcher Arturo Vidal visibly frustrated.

"We didn't play well enough to win," Lexington skipper Danny Ortiz said.
