Vaughn Lauded as BlueClaws Defeat Intimidators, 8-6
The Lakewood BlueClaws powered past the Kannapolis Intimidators, 8-6, at First Energy Park. Paul Vaughn was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Lakewood reliever Milo Allen snagged the win, upping his record to 3-1. Dan Jenkins shouldered the loss. The 6th-place BlueClaws improved to 22-35.

Early in the game, Vaughn had a 2-run double for Lakewood. It was his 5th double of the season and put the BlueClaws on top, 2-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Vaughn told the Lakewood Today.
