Greg Gilbert was locked and loaded, helping the Rome Braves beat the Greenville Drive, 5-0. With the win over Greenville, the Braves improved to 34-25.
The Braves got a big at-bat from second baseman Pablo Castillo. For the game, Castillo was 1-4 with a triple. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Rome a 1-0 lead.
"I really like what we did out there today," Castillo said after the game.
