Delmarva turned a good effort from starter Edwin Franco into a win over the Columbia Fireflies at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The final score was 7-1. The winner was Franco. He threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Alex Cuellar. The win makes Delmarva 25-35.
Rocky Hall hit a 2-run double off Alex Cuellar in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Shorebirds in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Hall had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
