Nieto Top-Notch as Grasshoppers Stop BlueClaws, 3-1

In a low-scoring affair between Greensboro Grasshoppers and the Lakewood BlueClaws, pitcher Eric Nieto was the difference-maker. The Greensboro right-hander handcuffed the opposition, to help his team pocket a 3-1 win. Rich Tulak finished the game for Greensboro and earned his 1st save. With the victory, the Grasshoppers record stands at 19-41.
Nieto earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Greensboro. The native of Acworth, Georgia, allowed just 1 hit, while striking out 10. Lakewood hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
