Legends Walk Off with 3-0 Win

The Lexington Legends downed the Rome Braves, 3-0, at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. Lexington pitcher Santiago Vasquez had a scintillating performance. The Legends now own a record of 38-22.
Lexington got a knockout punch from Ron Meyer. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Vasquez.
