Chism goes 3-for-4 to Power BlueClaws Offense
Benefiting from Eric Chism's productive game, the Lakewood BlueClaws downed the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 4-2. Chism went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the BlueClaws. Lakewood pitcher Hector Cahue earned the win, hiking his record to 2-7. Steve Williams suffered the loss. The save was credited to Luis Quintana, his 1st.

Lakewood grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Chism hit a 3-run home run off Steve Williams. His 2nd home run of the season put the BlueClaws out in front, 4-1.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Chism. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."

Lakewood currently is in 6th place in the Northern Division at 16-45.
