Delgado hits 2 home runs, Leads Suns to Win
A 5-RBI performance from Mario Delgado helped the Hagerstown Suns beat the West Virginia Power, 8-0. Bobby Diaz went 6 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. The left-hander struck out 8 and walked 3. With the win, he ups his record to 7-3 this season. With the win, Hagerstown pushed its record to 32-30.

With Hagerstown leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Delgado came up to bat against West Virginia pitcher Ryan Obendorf. Delgado hit a fastball to center for a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Suns on top, 3-0.

"We didn't play well enough to win," said West Virginia skipper Jose Minera.
