Lexington starter Arturo Valverde pitched well against the Columbia Fireflies at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. David Thibeaux collected save number 4. At 31-32, the Legends find themselves in 4th place in the Southern Division.

The Legends got a big at-bat from shortstop Kyle Yerger. For the game, Yerger went 2-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 14th double of the season gave Lexington a 3-2 lead.
