Lexington took on Columbia in front of a lively crowd.

Lexington Legends starter Steve Walat was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Columbia Fireflies, 8-3. Lexington occupies second place in the Southern Division at 34-31.

Lexington shortstop Kyle Yerger delivered a solo home run in the top of the first. Overall, he went 3 for 5, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and knocked in 2.
