The Hagerstown Suns downed the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 8-2, at NewBridge Bank Park. The Suns were led by Josh Cipolla. Cipolla went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The Suns have an impressive 45-20 record.

With Hagerstown leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Cipolla hit a splitter from Maximiano Ramil for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Suns ahead, 3-0.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Hagerstown manager Chris Schneider.
