Kannapolis Makes It 8 Straight with 4-2 Win
The Kannapolis Intimidators got a strong performance from pitcher Alan Rimmer, who stymied the Greensboro offense en route to a win, 4-2, at NewBridge Bank Park. Tony Gomez notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. His record now sits at 5-0. With the victory, the Intimidators record now stands at 56-12.

Kannapolis needed the clutch hitting of Bobby Richards to notch the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Intimidators on top, 4-2. For the game, Richards had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
