Dave Bigby, despite pitching a good game, was disappointed in the outcome: a tough, 3-1, defeat for the Augusta GreenJackets at the hands of the Lexington Legends at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The win makes Lexington 33-35.

The Legends got a big at-bat from second baseman Shane Watrous. For the game, Watrous was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Lexington a 2-0 lead.

"Every play was important. Every out was important," said Legends manager Sean Young.
