Intimidators Handed 2-1 Loss by West Virginia
|
In a tight game between the Kannapolis Intimidators and the West Virginia Power, nobody was more important for the winners than Leo Ramos. Ramos was masterful in the 2-1 win. Todd Freeman, credited with the save, is now 19 for 19 in save opportunities. At 45-24, the Power find themselves in second place in the Northern Division.
Ed Cosman, who is tied for 7th in the SAL in triples with 4, helped out the West Virginia cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 3 with a walk.
Said Kannapolis manager Brian Turek: "They pitched the heck out of us."
