Conditions were not ideal but Delmarva and Greensboro were able to put their game in the books.

The performance of Scott Rausch proved critical in helping Delmarva beat Greensboro, 6-2. The Shorebirds designated hitter went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Shorebirds now own a record of 28-41.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Rausch hit a 2-run home run. It thrust the Shorebirds into the lead, 3-1.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Rausch.
