The Asheville Tourists took it on the chin, losing 11-2 to the Lexington Legends. Manny Krill, who is tied for 10th in the SAL in strikeouts with 91, pitched a strong game for Lexington. Krill went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 8-4. Lexington goes to 41-28, Asheville to 27-42.

Lexington relied on the hitting of Austin Penland to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Legends on top, 9-1. For the game, Penland had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
