1-0 Suns Win over Shorebirds Evens Season Record
|
In a well-pitched game between the Hagerstown Suns and the Delmarva Shorebirds, pitcher Alvin Janosky was fantastic. The Hagerstown right-hander helped his team secure the win, 1-0. The winning pitcher was Janosky, now 2-1. He tossed 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. The Suns now own a record of 35-35.
Early in the game, third baseman Enrique Alamilla had a run-scoring double for Hagerstown. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Suns on top, 1-0.
In postgame remarks, Alamilla applauded his team's "business-like approach."
