The Hickory Crawdads and Hagerstown Suns played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

In a tight affair between the Hickory Crawdads and the Hagerstown Suns, pitcher Walt Scott was in the zone. The Hickory right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Scott, now 4-6, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 12, walking 0, and allowing 1 run.
