Braves Rally to Win, 3-2
|
The Rome Braves wiggled past the Asheville Tourists, 3-2, at McCormick Field. The win was highlighted by the performance of Rome pitcher Shane Fielder. The third-place Braves have won 4 straight games.
Ben Brisco, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2111 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Brisco contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Rome up, 3-2.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Brisco.
