Delmarva wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Paul Weder, falling to the Hickory Crawdads, 7-4. Weder threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. The winner in relief was Orestes Abulhe. He is now 5-0. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. Hickory has 5 straight wins, Delmarva 3 straight losses.
