Drive Earn Late 2-1 Win
In a low-scoring tilt between the Greenville Drive and the Charleston RiverDogs, 25-year old left-handed pitcher Bryan Demeule was the difference-maker. The Greenville left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win in 13 innings. The win belonged to Eli Villarreal in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Melvin Balderas took the loss for Charleston. Greenville is now 29-45, Charleston 30-44.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 13th for Greenville. That's when Ryan Posada hit a 2-run home run off 21-year old left-handed pitcher Melvin Balderas to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

Greenville manager Joey Many commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
