Suns Win Streak Now at 7 After 4-0 Victory
|
The Asheville Tourists went down to defeat to Brandon Dobeck and his Hagerstown teammates. The final score was 4-0 in favor of the Suns. Dobeck, now 8-3, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing no runs. With the win, Hagerstown upped its record to 54-22.
Hagerstown took a 3-0 lead on John McBride's 3rd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which McBride hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Asheville pitcher Jimmy Armstrong shaking his head.
"It feels good to get this one," McBride told the Hagerstown Observer.
