Legends Edge Columbia in Pitching Duel
The Columbia Fireflies were defeated, 1-0, by the Lexington Legends at Spirit Communications Park, even though Mike Horn pitched well for Columbia. Lexington reliever Kyle McDonald picked up the win to move to 4-2. Mike Horn suffered the loss. After today's action, Lexington sits at 40-36; Columbia slips to 38-38.

Kyle Yerger, who is tied for 5th in the SAL in doubles with 19, had a direct impact on the outcome. Yerger contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Lexington up, 1-0.

"Every play was important. Every out was important," said Legends manager Danny Ortiz.
