Drive Need Extra Frames to Get Past Legends
The Greenville Drive took Lexington pitcher Garrett Youngblood's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Fluor Field at the West End. The final score had Greenville getting past the Legends, 5-4. Youngblood went 7 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 5. The win went to Henri Mariotto in relief. His record improves to 7-2. Nate Mendoza took the loss. After today's action, Greenville sits at 39-42, while Lexington falls to 43-38.

The Drive got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Mike McMillen. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Drive.

"A lot to like, just frustrated that we came up short," said Lexington manager Danny Ortiz.
