The RiverDogs earned a hard-fought, 7-4 win in 11 innings at Lake Olmstead Stadium. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Augusta pitcher Chase Allen. Allen went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Ali Lowery, credited with the save, is now 5 for 6 in save opportunities. The win elevated the RiverDogs to 41-41.

Charleston used a timely hit from Abel Bras to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the RiverDogs ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

In postgame comments, Bras said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
