Good production from left fielder Wilson Gonzalez helped the Columbia Fireflies topple the West Virginia Power, 8-1. Gonzalez went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Fireflies. At 58-26, Columbia is in second place in the Southern Division.

Gonzalez put Columbia up, 8-1, when he hit a grand slam home run off Matthaus Martin in the top of the ninth. His 4th home run of the season helped the Fireflies capture the win.

"I really like what we did out there today," Gonzalez said after the game.
