Shorebirds Earn Late 7-6 Win
The Delmarva Shorebirds had to overcome a big game from Hagerstown third baseman Brett Rine to leave Municipal Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6. Rine was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Delmarva reliever Jaime Lipscomb got the win, raising his record to 1-5. Ryan Thibeault was tagged with the loss. Delmarva now has a record of 63-33 with the win.

Ruben Nolasco came through with a big-time hit for Delmarva. The left fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Shorebirds," said Nolasco.
