The Greenville Drive battled the Lexington Legends into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Drive won it, finally, 14-12, in 13 innings. In the game, Greenville catcher Doug Antonelli was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The third-place Drive go to 55-41.

Greenville relied on the bat of Andre Hyden to get the win. The center fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the 13th inning to put the Drive ahead, 14-12. For the game, Hyden had 1 double and 1 triple in 7 at-bats.
