The Delmarva Shorebirds topped the West Virginia Power, 2-1, in South Atlantic League action at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Delmarva pitcher Jonathan Duffy. The Shorebirds, at 64-35, sit in second place in the Northern Division.

Delmarva took the lead, 2-1, on Johnny Neubauer's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run came off West Virginia pitcher Chad McNulty in the bottom of the eighth.

"We leaned on our pitching tonight," Duffy said.
