Legends Edge Hagerstown in Pitching Duel
|
In a tight tilt between the Lexington Legends and the Hagerstown Suns, Miguel Mora was the deciding factor. The Lexington right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. The 5th-place Suns dropped to 53-48.
Making an impact for Lexington was designated hitter Jesus Pantoja. He drilled a double off Bill Freake in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Pantoja went 2 for 2 with a double and a walk.
"My gosh almighty, Miguel was tremendous," said Lexington manager Danny Ortiz.
